Straight out of an Enid Blyton novel, we present you with a gang of unlikely heroes by the name of Family Art Club, bringing their very best ensemble of twangy guitars, saxophone and ever-present slacker cool. Their sound walks all over Pavement, Parquet Courts and The Chats with a fresh edge on art-punk and even fresher set of songs.
Crash landing into the fossilised terrain of DIY indie, their ‘Friends from Home EP’ blends all of said influences together to mirror their adventures as art curators, slacker cookie-bakers and hearty songwriters.
The group cut, paint, polish, craft and stick together a mosaic collage of DIY rock n’roll at its finest, awaiting their highest bidder with well-humoured “modesty”.
